Hurom's Revolution in Healthy Slow Juicing

The answer led to decades of innovation, culminating in the world’s first screw‑based vertical slow juicer in 2005. Unlike traditional juicers, Hurom’s technology extracts juice at low speeds and without generating heat, delivering richer flavors and higher nutritional value.


Hurom’s growth mirrors the rising global focus on health. The company expanded beyond South Korea into regions like the US and Europe by engaging directly with consumers, adapting to different markets and prioritizing localization. Rather than competing head‑to‑head with larger appliance brands, Hurom carved out a niche in health‑conscious communities. Today, it has sold over 12 million juicers in 80 countries, generating revenue exceeding 2.18 trillion KRW.

Hurom’s low‑speed juice technology embodies this focus on health and delicately extracts liquid from fruits and vegetables by pressing rather than grinding. This is achieved by an innovative screw‑based pressing system, rather than the typically used blades. The slow rotation preserves essential nutritional components and ensures vibrant flavors.

The pandemic reinforced the importance of health, spurring renewed interest in fresh, nutrient‑dense foods. Hurom capitalized on this shift by launching the new generation of H70 slow juicers designed for convenience and frequent use. Mr. Kim plans to actively expand the global market through localization.

Looking ahead, Hurom has ambitious goals. The company aims to reach 1 trillion KRW in revenue within the next three to five years. It attributes this growth potential to two factors: people and experience.
