How to Spot a Real 11.11 Slow Juicer Deal in Malaysia
The 11.11 sale falls on 11 November. Every year, shopping apps fill up with big discounts on kitchen appliances, and slow juicers are no exception.
Not every deal is what it looks like. In June 2025, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) said it received over 10,000 consumer complaints in 2024 about e-commerce transactions. Many of them were about fake or misleading products.
A slow juicer in Malaysia is a big purchase for most homes. This guide shows you how to check a sale before you pay, so the deal you get is real.
Start before the sale
The best time to prepare for 11.11 is in October.
Pick two or three machines you like. Save the product pages and take screenshots of the price on different days. Write down what is in the box, how long the warranty is and who the seller is.
When the sale starts, you will know the normal price. A big discount on sale day only saves you money if the price was not raised before the sale.
Six checks before you pay
1. Is the "before" price real?
Look at the price you saved in October. If the "before" price on sale day is higher than anything you saw, the discount is smaller than it looks.
Some apps show the price history of a listing. Use it if it is there. If it is not, your screenshots are your record.
2. Who is the seller?
A slow juicer can be listed by the official brand store, an authorised dealer or a reseller. The price may be close, but the after-sales care often is not.
Check the seller's name and shop page. Look for words like "official store" or "authorised dealer". If you are unsure, ask the brand directly whether the seller is authorised.
3. Will the warranty count?
This is the most important check. A warranty may only apply when you buy from an authorised seller. A machine from an unknown reseller may come with no valid warranty at all.
Ask the seller in chat: "Is this covered by the local warranty?" Keep the reply. After you buy, register your warranty straight away, while the order details are fresh.
4. Is the box complete?
Low prices sometimes hide a smaller set. Check the list of parts in the listing. Compare it with the set on the maker's own page. A missing screen or brush can cost you extra later.
5. Does it carry the ST-SIRIM label?
Kitchen appliances in Malaysia must be approved for sale, and approved products carry an ST-SIRIM safety label. Ask the seller for a photo of the label on the machine. If they cannot show one, do not buy.
6. Can you get parts later?
Seals and screens wear out over time. A cheap machine with no local parts can become useless when one small piece breaks. Check that spare parts for the model are sold locally before you choose.
Warning signs of a fake or poor deal
Reviews can be faked too, so read the low-star reviews first. They often tell you more than the five-star ones. Walk away if you see any of these:
- a price far below every other seller for the same model
- a new shop with few reviews and no history
- photos copied from the brand's own site, with no real photos of the item
- a seller who asks you to pay outside the app
- a "brand new" machine with no warranty card mentioned
- reviews that all sound the same, posted on the same few days
Price is not the only saving
A real deal is not always the lowest price. It can be free delivery, a longer warranty, extra parts in the box or a 0% instalment plan.
Compare the full package. A slightly higher price from an official store can be cheaper in the long run if it comes with proper warranty cover and parts. Our guide on what a good juicer really costs shows how to work out the cost per year.
Free gifts deserve a second look too. A bundle with extra bottles or a cheap blender may look generous. But if the juicer itself costs more than usual, you are paying for the gifts.
If you pay in instalments, read the terms first. Check for processing fees and late payment charges before you agree.
If something goes wrong
Keep every record: the listing screenshot, your chat with the seller, the receipt and photos of the item when it arrives.
If the item is fake, damaged or not as described, raise it with the platform first. Most apps have a return or refund process with a time limit, so act quickly. If the seller will not help, you can make a complaint to KPDN.
Choosing the right slow juicer in Malaysia first
A good deal on the wrong machine is not a good deal. Before 11.11, decide which type of slow juicer suits you. Think about what you will juice, how much space you have and how often you will use it.

On the day of the sale
Big sales move fast. A little planning keeps you from rushing into a bad choice.
Add your chosen machine to your cart a few days early. Collect any shop or platform vouchers before the sale starts. Some vouchers run out, and some can be used together with a shop discount.
Watch the time. Flash deals often open at set hours and sell out quickly. If a deal ends before you can check it properly, let it go. Another sale will come.
Read the listing again before you pay. Sellers sometimes change the bundle, the colour or the delivery time during a sale. Make sure what you pay for is what you checked.
Delivery, returns and East Malaysia
Check the delivery terms as closely as the price. Delivery to Sabah and Sarawak can cost more and take longer than delivery in the peninsula. A low price with a high delivery fee may not be a saving.
Ask what happens if the machine arrives damaged. Who pays to send it back? How long do you have to report it? Open the box as soon as it arrives, and take photos before you use it.
Frequently asked questions
When is the 11.11 sale in Malaysia?
The 11.11 sale is held on 11 November each year. Some apps start deals on the evening of 10 November, so check then as well.
How do I know if an 11.11 discount is real?
Check the normal price a few weeks before the sale. Take screenshots on different days. If the "before" price on sale day is higher than what you saw, the real discount is smaller.
Is it safe to buy a slow juicer on a shopping app?
It can be, if you buy from the official store or an authorised dealer. Check the seller, the warranty and the ST-SIRIM label before you pay.
Does the warranty still count if I buy during a sale?
It usually does if you buy from an authorised seller. A sale does not cancel a warranty. Buying from an unknown reseller is the bigger risk, so ask the seller first.
What should I do if I receive a fake juicer?
Take photos, keep your chat and receipt, and raise a return with the platform quickly. If the seller does not help, you can make a complaint to KPDN.
Should I buy a slow juicer during 11.11 or wait for 12.12?
Both sales can have good prices. Track the price from October and decide on the day. A real deal on the right machine is better than waiting for a slightly bigger discount.
